I’m happy to report that I’ve survived yet another slow season.
It’s so funny how just two weeks ago I was starting to wonder if I was ever going to get back to work, but now I’m starting to wonder if I’ve taken too much work. I’m probably more excited for the next 3 months than I’ve been for any other work. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that it’s guaranteed to be something completely new.
I was in St. John’s, Newfoundland this weekend and I was approached by a reader of this blog (I quite honestly was just shocked that anyone even read this blog). It’s great to know that this material is getting read, even if it’s just by one person (I havent checked my analytics lately so I have no idea). They asked if they could pick my brain, and I was completely flattered. I offered the best advice I could via email while I was sitting in the Halifax airport on a three hour layover, on only three hours of sleep. I think most of it made sense, but I will definitely be editing it when I post it up here.
I’m really looking forward to getting back on the road so I can post some photos up here. This tour is going to be totally different from any other tour I’ve been on so I’m looking forward to sharing the experience. I’ll have a new camera then so hopefully I can take some good photos, and record some good HD video.
